Family Night

Solar energy, skeletons, architecture and books. Oh my!

When it comes to keeping kids interested in the hard sciences and math, Stepping Stones Museum for Children is the place to be. And here at RIF, we also strive to find STEM+Arts (STEAM Themes) books that all kids will love. So when Pitney Bowes hosted RIF’s Family Literacy Night at the museum in Norfolk, Conn., it was the perfect match.

Families were invited to a meal, entrance into the museum, and readings from Pitney Bowes employees and Rep. Jim Himes, D-Conn., for free. And of course we didn’t let kids go home empty handed. Every kid who attended picked their very own RIF book to take home.
