First time for both. She is 31 and was so excited remembering all the books I read to her as a child. She and her hubby are expecting their first child and she has promised me they will read to him or her at every opportunity. I haven’t thought about Reading Rainbow in years! Oh what great memories! And love your RIF song!!!!

I’ve loved reading since I was young and I hope to write my own books when I grow older. I know some of these artists, and I must say that Jack Black’s part made me laugh. Thank you for giving inspiration and spreading the magic of reading. I recognized characters (oh, Curious George, Babar, Clifford, etc.) You obviously attracted my generation! Thanks!

I recognized every single character and was proud that my kids could identify most of them to. Oddly enough, I actually teared up listening and watching because I have loved reading since I was around 3 or 4 and when I heard my kids singing along and then asking me could I read them a book because they want to be book people too…the tears just brimmed :-) I will be a book person for life because reading is not only fundamental, it’s FUN! I hope a link or file of the full song will be sent soon, I’ve taken the pledge and I want that to be my new ringtone :-)

It initially looks like a strip entering Seattle, but the buildings don’t look quite right….LA perhaps? Aaah, the silly things that keep one up at night…I know, I know; Go read a book, right?!

My wanting to learn how to read was the trick my mother used to get me to go to school. once I learned I read a book a day until I started working 2 jobs. How sad of this grown woman knowing everyone of those characters in the commercial and my neice and nephew were at a lost but I love love LOVE that commercial
